Chief Technology Officer Ziff Davis

Joey Fortuna oversees corporate IT initiatives, policies and practices, and facilitates cross-company technology efforts. A central figure in driving innovation and developing proprietary technology across Ziff Davis’ media businesses, Joey served as CTO of Ziff Davis from 2011, helping to orchestrate its acquisition by J2 Global. Then in 2018, Joey became CTO of J2 Global, Inc. (now Ziff Davis, Inc.) — the first CTO in the company’s 23-year history.

Joey has more than 30 years of experience in technical leadership, software engineering methodology, systems architecture, data services, analytics, product design and support. Prior to joining Ziff Davis in 2011, Joey was Senior Vice President of Engineering at VINDICO Group, VP of Engineering at Quigo, and co-founder and Vice President of Technology at Pseudo Programs, Inc.
